Death is a part of life, but that doesn't mean we always know how to talk about it.
Facing the end of life can bring fear, uncertainty, sadness, anger, questions, and sometimes peace.
Whether you are facing your own end of life, supporting someone you love, or carrying the emotions that come with a difficult diagnosis, you don't have to navigate it alone.
I offer compassionate, trauma-informed online counseling and death doula support for individuals and families navigating the emotional and practical realities of end-of-life, including difficult diagnoses, anticipatory grief, MAID, and the dying process.
• Exploring fears and concerns about dying
• Anticipatory grief and loss
• Having difficult conversations with loved ones
• Navigating changes in relationships and family roles
• Emotional support following a life-limiting diagnosis
• Support for caregivers and family members
• Sitting vigil and companionship
• Creating meaningful moments and rituals
• Exploring wishes, values, meaning, and what matters most
• Grief support before and after a death
Support Around MAID
Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) can bring up many different emotions and questions for individuals and families.
There may be sadness, uncertainty, relief, fear, conflict, love, or a mixture of emotions that are difficult to put into words.
I provide compassionate, non-judgmental support before, during, and after a MAID provision. This can include support for the individual, family members, caregivers, and others affected by the experience.
My role is not to influence your decision, but to support you as you process what this experience means for you and the people you love.
When someone you love is approaching the end of life, you may find yourself trying to hold everything together while quietly experiencing your own grief.
You may be navigating changing roles, difficult conversations, family dynamics, caregiving responsibilities, or simply trying to make the most of the time you have together.
There is room for all of it here — the sadness, the fear, the love, the anger, the uncertainty, and even the moments of laughter and connection.
You don't have to be strong every minute.
Death Doula Support
As a death doula, I offer compassionate presence and support during one of life's most profound transitions.
Sometimes what is needed isn't another person trying to make the hard things disappear.
Sometimes it's simply someone who can sit beside you, listen, help you find words for the difficult things, and create space for what matters most.
No one should have to face grief or death alone.
Every person's experience of dying, caregiving, and grief is different.
My role is to meet you where you are, without judgment or expectations, and walk alongside you through whatever this chapter brings.
If you or someone you love could use support, you're welcome to reach out.
Let's start with a conversation.
